The mentoring program further enhances the mission of American Humanics to empower, educate and prepare EMU American Humanics students to strengthen and lead nonprofit organizations. The program pairs AH students with seasoned nonprofit professionals to develop positive, safe, and effective mentoring relationships that are consistent, supportive and accountable. Working with a seasoned NPO leader, students are given the opportunity to further their personal and professional development. Mentors are given the opportunity to share their vast experience (in the nonprofit sector) as well as learn from the newer generation of leaders. The mentoring program assists to round out the whole AH experience and further build EMU-NPO relationships.
